We've known that Irelia is getting a big update for a while now, and now that Swain's rework is out of the way, Irelia is next up.
Riot Games haven't revealed much in the way of details, but they did release a new video today, teasing the upcoming rework.
She looks fairly similar, and she will still be heavily into 'blades,' but Riot has said that the majority of her abilities do need looking at.

Irelia hasn't been a top pick in competitive play for some time now, so she's in desperate need of a change.
It's likely we'll learn about more how she'll be played in the coming weeks, but for now, we've been given a glimpse into her backstory.
'We once danced in harmony with the land,' she says in the teaser video, 'until the tyrants defiled it. But when they shattered our spirit, we became sharpest at the break. We are the defenders of the first lamps, and we remember the cost of peace.'
Going by the existing lore, the 'tyrants' are probably the Noxians. The video shows Irelia presumably rising up to lead her people against the invaders.
Her full name will now be Irelia: The Defiant Blade, rather than Irelia, the Will of the Blades. Beyond that, we'll have to wait and see what else is different about her.
As well as releasing new champions, Riot has been going back and reworking older champions over the past few years.
The most recent rework for Swain even saw play in the EU LCS last night, as Fnatic's substitute top laner Bwipo brought out the bird man.
