Cell Service Is Expensive. This Guy Only Pays $24

Technology for today's farmer is being driven primarily by the needs of producers, according to Nate Young, who sells farm equipment at 21st Century Equipment in Sterling.

"It's customer driven solutions," Young said. "The number of acres a guy has to cover a day versus what he did 10 ears ago, 20 years ago has drastically increased ... and it's all about doing more with less."

For many producers, the shortage of qualified farm workers has augmented the need for better technological advances. Better technology means farmers can do more of the work themselves or hire workers who don't need a ton of training.
