SEBASTIAN BUEMI claims Fernando Alonso asks a lot of questions about Formula E amid reports the ex-world champ's F1 future is in doubt.
The pair are Toyota team-mates in the World Endurance Championship and Buemi spoke of the prospect of the Spaniard joining him the all-electric series.
Alonso, 36, has been heavily linked with a move away from F1 and Buemi said the two-time world champion already shows an interest in FE.
When asked if his pal could join him in Formula E, Buemi said: “I have no idea, Why not?
“He seems to be quite interested, he asks a lot about it and he knows a lot about it too which is good.
“Of course [I would like him to join], but I am not sure if it’s going to happen soon.”
Alonso and Buemi have already won the first race of this season’s Endurance Championship and will compete in the Le Mans 24 hour race next week.
