GS News Update: Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid Now Live On PS4 And Xbox One

Today’s Destiny 2 server down time finished early and saw the release of a new Bungie patch ahead of scheduled.

A long list of Destiny 2 update notes confirm that Bungie have still got quite a way to go before catching the majority of bugs causing issues in-game.

The development team made a long list of changes to Faction Rallies, even though the launch of Season 2’s event has been postponed.

Bungie have also confirmed that they are changing the way that new DLC content was going to start gating certain gameplay features.

It has now been revealed that Time limited events – Iron Banner, Faction Rally, and The Dawning, will be made available to all players.

However, new Seasonal Rewards that launch with Curse of Osiris, such as the new Seasonal Armor Ornaments, will require ownership of Curse of Osiris to acquire.

These new changes were also going to affect Prestige Levithan Raids, although Bungie have now revealed that they have changed their plans for this too.

The Prestige Leviathan Raid has now been brought back down to Power 300, and its rewards have dropped down to match the new Power Level.

This means that all players will regain access to the Prestige Raid.
