Last year’s Justice League featured a cast with incredible chemistry and an obvious excitement for the work they were doing. Sadly, the critical and box office reception for the film has left the idea of a sequel up in limbo. Don’t worry though, as you can still have a glimpse at the league together through Jason Mamoa’s Instagram.
Jason Mamoa, as well as his Justice League co-stars Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, appeared at the recent Wizard World comic book convention and took a selfie to commemorate the event. We may not have a Justice League sequel announced, but it looks like these three still love being part of this comic world. The huge smiles on all of their faces show that the crew still have it in them to deliver something great if given the opportunity. Take a look at Mamoa’s Instagram post below.

Say what you will about Justice League, but these three crushed the roles that they were given. There have been rumors that Henry Cavill’s Superman will take on a Nick Fury-esque role for the DC Extended Universe and I’d like to see all of the Justice League members do the same. I’d rather see them all have a second chance at leading, but if DC really wants to focus on new heroes like Batgirl and Shazam, then I’d like to see the Justice League cast become beacons of inspiration for kids and heroes alike in the universe. We’ll just have to eagerly await to see what Warner Bros. is going to do with the franchise, which will hopefully be announced this July at San Diego Comic-Con. It’ll be a while until we see another DC film on the big screen though, with Aquaman hitting theaters this December. Also read: ‘Justice League’ Director Zack Snyder Comments On Popular Martian Manhunter Theory

Plot details for Aquaman are currently under wraps, though the film centers on the King of Atlantis and will dive much deeper into the character’s past as it explores the discovery of his powers and his reluctance to accept his role as King.
Directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall, the film stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.
Aquaman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 21, 2018
10 Marvel & DC Villains Who Can Take Down Thanos
Thanos may have just taken down some of Marvel’s finest superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War, but he’s not the deadliest villain in comics. Both DC and Marvel are full of characters who are more powerful than the Mad Titan.
Admittedly, whenever Thanos is in possession of all six infinity stones he is the most powerful being in the universe, but anyone can harness that power if they successfully gather all the necessary components. If anything, Thanos is just incredibly patient and willing to wait to achieve his goals, a trait not many supervillains in DC or Marvel have. With the gauntlet, Thanos is essentially an immortal God who can snap his fingers and turn entire worlds to dust, but without it he’s just another villain who wants to rule the universe. He’s clearly a strong and terrifying guy, but if he were to face any of these villains without his Gauntlet, Thanos would be in big trouble.
