Well, to say that Friday was a pretty crazy day in the 2016 NCAA Tournament would probably be an understatement. March Madness was most certainly in full swing, and the best part is that it isn’t all over just yet. No, half of the teams that were part of the action have some games coming up on Sunday in the Second Round.
Of course, there really is no argument that the focus really mostly be on one team — that team being Middle Tennessee. The No. 15 seed from the Midwest Region shocked everyone and knocked off Michigan State, bringing us the first time a 15-seed has defeated a 2-seed since 2013 when Florida Gulf Coast stole our hearts. Middle Tennessee will now take on another underdog in Syracuse, who defeated Dayton on Friday.
